Synopsis Seated Roots is a creative documentary that establishes the relationship of the young generation with the city of beirut from an anthropological level. The film was premiered at the Arab short film festival winning the jury Prize, and was screened at the Ecran du réel Festival, the European FF in Beirut and kask Cinéma festival in Belgium.

Synopsis The Neverending Illumination of Light is a cli-fi project imagining Beirut as a sunken city studied by future researchers through present-day artifacts. In 2021, Reeda completed a working draft of her film The Neverending Illumination of Light, which received a small grant from Haven for Artists. After its initial screening, Reeda identified the work as unfinished and entered a hiatus to explore alternative storytelling models and collaborative methods. The project has since evolved into an interdisciplinary platform, launching as a website in mid 2026. The site will feature Reeda’s own audiovisual edits alongside contributions from artists and researchers, all expanding upon the same fictional premise.
